From a very young age, I have always struggled with math. No teachers or past after school care tutors could help me. In the year of 2004 I was struggling to pass the mathematics part of the TAAS test to graduate high school. My math teacher just couldn’t help me grasp the concept of algebraic mathematical problems. My mother saw that nothing was changing. She took action and started to look for math tutors. She finally came across Mr. Robert’s ad in the phone book. The first time he came to the house we knew that there would be hope for me after all. He has a very unique teaching technique that helps you understand in that first tutoring session. My mother saw that this was good and kept him as my tutor. By the time the TAAS test rolled around, I was ready and felt confident in what I was doing. I aced that test with an 80%! If it wasn’t by the grace of God sending him to us, I wouldn’t have passed that test. I sincerely thank you Mr. Robert that I was able to graduate.
