I am a retired military member going back to school in order to set myself up for a new career outside the military. Although I had already taken a lot of classes towards my degree while in the military, I had done so over several years whenever I could fit it into my schedule. My major is Accounting, and I had previously taken Introductory Accounting years ago, but the school took my credits and allowed me to enroll in the Intermediate Accounting course. To say I was lost is an understatement. I barely passed Intermediate Accounting 1 and I was very nervous about being able to pass Intermediate Accounting 2. That was when I decided to request a tutor. I wanted to not only pass the class, but to actually understand the material. The tutor really helped me with the material and not only did I pass Intermediate Accounting 2, but I received a better grade than I did in Intermediate Accounting 1.
